About EU261 Compensation

EU Regulation 261/2004 protects air passengers when flights are delayed, cancelled, or when they're denied boarding against their will.

You're entitled to compensation when:

• Your flight arrives at its destination more than 3 hours late
• Your flight is cancelled less than 14 days before departure
• You're denied boarding despite having a valid ticket

Compensation amounts:

• €250 for flights up to 1,500km
• €400 for flights between 1,500km and 3,500km
• €600 for flights over 3,500km

Note: Compensation may be reduced by 50% if the airline offers alternative routing that arrives within a certain timeframe.
